The first intramammary antibiotic developed in Latin America containing Cephalexin, Neomycin Sulfate, and Prednisolone, indicated for all bacterial infections.
CEFTOCIDIN is indicated for all bacterial infections involving the mammary gland that manifest as clinical mastitis. It provides an antimicrobial effect to eliminate the infection while controlling inflammation in the gland, ensuring reduced scarring and preventing a decrease in milk production.
Start treatment at the first signs of mastitis. Before application, the affected teat must be emptied as much as possible, and proper hygiene must be carried out. CEFTOCIDIN is a STERILE PRODUCT sterilized by irradiation. Open only at the time of administration. After that, simply apply. Massage the teat from its base to ensure proper product distribution. It is recommended to administer 1 dose every 12 hours, totaling 6 applications, or as directed by a veterinarian.
